Houston Rodeo Trip

To finish off a busy Spring Break, I took the kids (yes, all three of them) to the rodeo last Friday. Granted, my best friend, Kristen, and her oldest niece (our babysitter) also came which was a huge help. The boys had a great time seeing the baby animals, collecting cards, learning about where milk comes from and hitting the petting zoo. After that, we headed outside for some super yummy lunch and then we were off to the carnival. We got super lucky this year with the weather. It wasn't super hot like last year and there was decent cloud cover. James was really brave and rode a couple of really big roller coasters. Poor John got really upset when he wasn't quite tall enough to participate in everything big brother was doing. Hopefully next year he'll be taller and can go into more of the fun houses they have. Jude did a great job and even took two fairly decent naps - one after lunch and one on the walk back to the car. It was a really long day but we had a great time. Bye-bye rodeo.
