We had a wonderful Halloween weekend this year. It started off with dinner and pumpkin carving on Friday evening with Kristen and the Crouch kids. We apparently didn't learn our lesson from last year and ended up completing the carving in the dark. Next year we really must remember to carve first and eat dinner second. Saturday we just hung out before going to a Halloween party hosted by a neighbor on Sunday evening. All three boys got dressed up in their costumes and had fun playing pin the stem on the pumpkin and doing a couple of Halloween crafts. They also enjoyed their spider rings and vampire teeth. After the party, we came home to light our Jack O Lanterns and then head out trick or treating. I have no idea why but none of the other families on our street celebrate Halloween and yet again I had a ton of left over candy. We finally have decided that we won't be passing out candy at our house going forward. We'll just contribute to the candy stash at Kristen's house since that is apparently the back of the neighborhood is where the party's at. All in all, it was a great day for the boys. Pictures to come soon.
